Does Corey teach children?

Yes. Corey teaches children as well as teens and adults. Lessons are adjusted to the student's age, experience, and learning pace.

Can adults take lessons too?

Yes. Adults can begin guitar at any age, whether they are complete beginners or returning to music after years away.

Does Corey offer ukulele lessons?

Yes. Corey also offers ukulele lessons, particularly for younger children. The ukulele can be a fun, approachable way for young students to begin learning chords, rhythm, and basic musical skills before transitioning to guitar as they grow and are ready for a larger instrument.

Are online lessons available?

Yes. Lessons are available on-site in Westchester, Illinois, as well as online via Zoom for students across the U.S. and around the world. Contact us for current availability and lesson arrangements.

Does Corey teach worship music?

Yes. Corey has around 20 years of experience in contemporary worship ministry and can help church musicians and volunteers develop practical guitar skills for worship settings. Lessons can be adapted to the student's experience, goals, and the music they want to play.

Can lessons be adapted for students with different learning needs?

Yes. Corey takes a patient, flexible approach and can adapt the pace and structure of lessons to the individual student's abilities and learning style. If a student has particular needs, feel free to discuss them with Corey before starting lessons.
